We engage with community members and rely on their support for successful camps. This is as much a bonding experience for the adult community members as the sports activities are for the youth.
We bring together international volunteers and the local community, on and off the field, to foster empathy and respect between all participants.
We use unfamiliar sports within the host county to level the playing field, which allows all participants an equal chance at success.
We use the Pareto Principle to invest in the top 20 percent of our participants who show leadership and determination. These leaders will inspire and lead the changes to make their community stronger.
We build local capacity by engaging community members in the planning and execution of camp events. This helps build capacity and provides transferable skills which make community members more employable. E2P also supports the local economy by purchasing as many materials in the community as possible.
Youth are the most vulnerable population yet often go unheard in their communities. Our model encourages youth to become active community members by exercising their voice among their team members and to carry that into their day to day lives in their neighborhood.
Every child should be able to access the education they need to reach their goals. E2P assists the children that show the strongest leadership qualities with the Achieve Success Scholarship program so they can become the doctors, lawyers, teachers they want to become.
Our goal is not to create the best athlete, it is to use sports as a tool to develop leadership, team building, and life skills. E2P strives to provide the best sports instruction that provides equal, fair opportunities to all participants so every child feels empowered.
